A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart.
I will be on my annual priestly retreat this week
—Retreats are vital for priests – not only for personal renewal, but also so that we may better serve you.
Please pray for me during this time, and know that I will be carrying all of you in my prayers as I spend this time with the Lord.
I want to inform you that I will be going on my annual priestly retreat this week. This is a time for me to step back from the busyness of daily ministry, to rest in the Lord, and to listen more deeply to His voice in prayer and silence. Retreats are vital for priests – not only for personal renewal, but also so that we may better serve you, the people entrusted to our care. Please pray for me during this time, and know that I will be carrying all of you in my prayers as I spend this time with the Lord.
In 2026, St Gabriel will celebrate our 60th Anniversary
I also want to joyfully share some important news about our parish family. On March 24, 2026, we will begin the celebration of the 60th Anniversary—our Diamond Jubilee—of our beloved parish. This is a time of thanksgiving and vision, a moment to reflect on God’s goodness over the years and to look forward in faith and hope.
As part of this jubilee celebration, we are prayerfully considering the construction of a bell tower on our parish grounds.
This tower will serve multiple purposes:
- A visible sign of faith for the community around us, a quiet but constant way of evangelizing.
- A landmark and symbol of our parish identity, reminding us and others of our Catholic presence and mission.
- A spiritual statement—The tower is being envisioned to be 53 feet high, a meaningful number that reflects the 53 Hail Mary beads in the Rosary, reminding us of Our Lady’s intercession and our call to pray continually.
Tower Appearance
On the tower, we hope to include statues of Our Blessed Mother and St. Gabriel the Archangel, powerful reminders of faith, hope, and joyful proclamation—especially fitting for a parish dedicated to St. Gabriel.
Planning & Prayer
Much still is in the planning stage, but we wanted to share this vision with you early. Many things are being prayerfully considered and discussed. We ask for your prayers as we begin this journey of preparation and celebration. May the Lord guide us in every step, and may this project deepen our faith, strengthen our unity, and draw others to Christ.
Please remember these intentions in your prayers—and once again, know that I will be remembering all of you during my retreat.
May God bless you abundantly.
Our Lady of the Rosary and St. Gabriel the Archangel pray for us!
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

Thank You for My Birthday Celebration. Last week, before my birthday, my little niece, with all the innocence and concern of a child, went to her mother and said, “I feel bad for Uncle Father Nathan. Uncle is all alone. There is no one to celebrate his birthday with him.” She said it because I am far away from my family home, and in her
