A Message from Father Nathan

Prayerful greetings to you, my people of St. Gabriel!!

There is one thing that make me uncomfortable as your parish priest, and that is to ask people to contribute money to the church. I literallly DO NOT like it at all, but at the same time I have to do it because we need money of maintenance as well as for the development of the parish.

I know that we have a second collection every week for the maintenance of the church. I get a sense that you all wanted to be most generous the first week of the month rather than every week, so we will do that.

I am confident that you will be happy to contribute toward the parish maintenance and development the first week of each month.

Please be assured of my prayers for you all. I do remember and praying for all.

Blessings

Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

Today is the Solemnity of St. Joseph. This is the primary and highest feast of St. Joseph and is celebrated annually on March 19th. Because this feast is a solemnity, even though it falls during Lent, the faithful are dispensed of their Lenten obligations on this day…

Understand The Lent discipline of Fasting… All Catholics are called to fast for at least two important dates. One is Ash Wednesday and the other is Good Friday. Fasting, prayer, and helping the poor are the three spiritual disciplines of Lent.
