A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are close to my heart.
When we celebrate Thanksgiving there is a beautiful prayer, which I love and wanted to share with you.
I quote
“Lord You have no need of our praise, yet our desire to thank You is itself Your gift. Our prayer of thanksgiving adds nothing to Your greatness, but makes us grow in Your grace and profit us for salvation.”
Gratitude and thanksgiving tell us who and what we are.
The great theologian, Raymond Pannikkar proposes a COSMOTHEOANTHIC vision which means: COSMOS means World, THEOS means God, and ANTHROPOS means Human. A civilized society looks at everything with gratitude.
Giving Thanks
Our blessed nation celebrates “Thanksgiving” this coming week, thanking the Lord for the wonderful land, the weather, our family and friends. It’s a time to be grateful to the Lord and thank Him.
May God bless our nation, our parish and our family. I personally would like to thank each and every one of you for your kindness, love and wonderful relationship. I value each and every one of you, every day of my life.
Special Thanks to The St. Gabriel Parish Community
I am also thanking the Lord for the wonderful holiness that I witness here and the magnanimous attitude with which we all grow together in this parish. Above all I love that community spirit that we have to hold each other and grow better in our spiritual life.
May God bless you all.
I would like to thank the members of the parish and financial council and the various organizations and their heads, all the volunteers, Fr. Tony, Deacon Bill, and our wonderful and dedicated staff, Marie and Jimmy.
A big thank you. You are wonderful. May God bless you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
With lots of love and ever at your service,
Fr. Sahayanthan Nathan

It’s our church. It’s our home. We need to maintain our building and enhance our security. We cannot ignore it because it will
only get worse and cost so much more. Please help me with some financial ideas.
