A Message from Father Nathan

My dearest people who are close to my heart.

THE EUCHARIST – SOURCE AND SUMMIT OF ECCLESIAL LIFE

The Catechism of the Catholic Church beautifully explains the holiness and sacredness of the Holy Mass in sections 1324, 1325 and 1326.

I quote The Eucharist is

“the source and summit of the Christian life.”

The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it.

For the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch. “and” The Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause of that communion in the divine life and that unity of the People of God by which the Church is kept in being.

It is the culmination both of God’s action sanctifying the world in Christ and of the worship men offer Christ and through Him to the Father in the Holy Spirit.  Finally, by the Eucharist celebration we already unite ourselves with the heavenly liturgy and anticipate eternal life, when God will be all in all.

Please allow me to express some of the hurdles and difficulties that I have learned from people I know attending the Holy Mass:

  • I have learned that some of my friends have to drive hours together to attend Mass.
  • I have witnessed in person others who have a longing to attend Mass but have no place to gather for Mass.
  • There are priests that I know who have told me that like the first Christians they do celebrate Mass underground at the risk of their lives. The government does not like them to celebrate Mass.

But here we are all so blessed with such wonderful environment; we have beautiful churches which are very close to the places where we live. Some of us have the ability to attend Mass whenever we want. We can go to Mass every day. I am here to serve you to the fullest extent.

We are all blessed, hence may I request you all to attend the Mass as often as you can. Some you to attend Mass everyday which is amazing and please continue to do that.

May I request everyone to participate in Mass as often as you can. Let us all live by the Eucharist. Let our life circle around the Eucharist.

Please bring your family and friends for Mass.

May the Eucharist Lord strengthen us, unite us, and may He help us to preview the elements of Heaven right here in our community as we gather here for the Eucharist. God bless you all.
With lots of love and ever at your service

God bless you all.  Please be assured of my prayers for you.

With lots of love and ever at your service,

Fr. Sahayanthan Nathan

Mass is God’s Food for Our Soul, come and partake. I am glad and delighted to witness many coming back to the church in person, which is great! I am looking forward to witnessing all our people back at the church. I thought maybe it would be good to do a little catechism as my thankfulness.
