A Message from Father Nathan
I am very happy to be back to the family of St. Gabriel’s
I missed you all
My dearest people, closest to my heart! I am very happy to be back to the family of St. Gabriel’s. I missed you all.
I was extremely delighted to be at home in India, but now I am glad to be back here at our faith home. I am immensely happy that everything went so smoothly while I was gone. Thank you to all those involved with this.
The India Dinner was a great Success
I want to appreciate all those who were involved with the Indian Dinner that we had on February 7th. It was a great success! I came to know that everyone who attended seemed to have loved it. So, a salute to all of you involved in the preparation, as well as those who supported it with your attendance. Since everyone likes it, we will make it an annual event. May God bless every one of you.
we are a long way from our ABCD goal
Coming on to the business, it looks like we are not doing great with the ABCD. $121,279 is our assigned target, but it looks like we are a long way from that goal. May I request you all to prayerfully consider and pledge towards this noble cause for our Archdiocese and for our community. I
do believe and trust in you, and believe that you, as a community, will shoulder the cross.
Lent Begins With Ash Wednesday
This week, we are also entering into an important season, the season of Lent. It is a holy season to purify ourselves and to focus on God, to enter into a deeper love for Him. I am very pleased that so many of you are attending the daily Mass. Please continue to do it! I would encourage every one of you to do the same. It is the best way to practice our faith.
Stations of the Cross are prayed every Friday at 4:00 p.m.
And, as usual, we will have Stations of the Cross prayed every Friday at 4:00 p.m. I would encourage all of us to participate in this liturgy and walk along with Him.
With prayers and blessings, and ever at your service

Archbishop’s Letter
My dear Brothers and Sisters,
Life can be noisy and, at times, overwhelming. Yet in the quiet moments of prayer, a still, gentle voice speaks to us—a deep conviction that stirs within and calls us to look beyond ourselves. Each day, we’re surrounded by the clamor of the world—its demands, its distractions, its pressures—but even in the midst of it all, God calls us to pause, to listen, and to respond to the quiet prompting within us: to see and serve the needs of others.
Let us come together to bring light where there is darkness, peace where there is conflict, and love where there is need. There is great strength in unity—and when we are united in Christ, we become a powerful force for good in a world longing for hope and healing.
Together, we must do good and seek peace. Together starts with you.
By giving to the Archbishop’s Charities and Development Drive, the ABCD, you bring hope to those in greatest need. This is our Church, our mission—to serve with heart and compassion.
The ABCD lives out this mission every day: feeding the hungry, consoling the suffering, embracing the stranger, advocating for justice, and upholding the dignity of the poor with love. The work of our Church in South Florida, through the ABCD, is not merely charitable—it is profoundly sacramental, a visible expression of Christ’s love in the world.
As Pope Leo XIV said, “United hand in hand with God… let us go forward. The world needs His light.” Let us seek peace, do good,
and stand in the light of Christ.
Now is the time to come together. Your gift to the ABCD supports a mission that reflects the very heart of the Gospel.
Thank you for uniting with me to be One in Faith, One in Hope, and One in Charity. Your faith and generosity bring the Gospel to life. May God bless you and keep you in His peace.
With hope and gratitude,
Most Rev. Thomas G. Wenski

At the Easter Vigil, the Exsultet is sung as Mass begins in darkness, illumined only by candles throughout the church. The Exsultet is a beautiful hymn of rejoicing in Christ’s triumph of sin and death.

Holy Week is also called “Passion Week” begins on Palm Sunday and continues to Easter Sunday. Holy Week provided an opportunity for all the faithful to reflect on their personal sinfulness and their need for Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf.

What is Holy Mass?
What we do and why do we do this?
Vatican II, bulletin 1324 said the following: – The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” 136 ‘the other sacraments and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented towards it.
