A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are all close to my heart
Lots of love, blessings, and prayers to you all.
The Lord’s Blessings
There are lots of positive comments on the Fourth of July celebration. I really wanted to make it meaningful. We all need to be thankful to the Lord for all the blessings He showers upon us out of choicest love. Very many times we take things for granted, and sometimes we don’t know what we are blessed with, just because we are not exposed to the other sides of life.
Yes, there are things to improve upon; all of us need to grow better and better, but we need to remember that we are all blessed, blessed by the Lord. Some of you were in tears and some of you said that it was the first time you participated in the celebration of this kind of Mass. We will make it a tradition to have the same celebration every year. As usual, I will continue to push our people to come for Mass. I don’t mind doing it. I feel honored to do it.
Building a Better St Gabriel Community
We need to plan on community building. I have asked the various heads of our parish organizations to promote and revitalize their groups. I aspire to each and every one of you to become part of a group or join an organization; that way you feel that you are part of the parish and involved in the parish.
We need every one of our people to feel that they are a member of the parish rather than just another number in the parish.
Please, if the Lord calls you for any ministry, please never say no to it. Please get involved.
Please pray for me that I may always be faithful to our Holy Mother Church and be a loyal minister of God in serving you all. I have a lot of plans and aspirations. Please pray that all of these are motivated by God and His greater glory as well as to bring the faithful closer to the Church.
I need your prayers. Please continue to pray for me.
God bless you all.
With lots of love and blessings,
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan
