A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart.
I Am on the Holy Doors Pilgrimage with a Group of Parishioners
Keep us in your prayers
When you read this message, I believe we will be in Rome. Please keep us in your prayers.
Pray for Pope Francis
Please pray for our Holy Father that he may regain his health to shepherd the church.
Holy Week and Easter
Very soon, we will be entering into Holy Week and Easter. We have planned the liturgies and all the details they involve. I wish and pray that our people have a meaningful celebration of Holy Week and Easter.
Pray for our Sick
Please remember and pray for our sick parishioners. I do remember and pray for them a lot. Lots of them are getting sick, some of them have become depressed, and some of them feel lonely. Please pray that the Lord may heal them and lead them into greatness. When I see my people getting sick and when they feel lonely, it affects me a lot. All I can do is to keep them all in my prayers. I wish I could take their pain and suffering for them, but it doesn’t happen that way; hence, I do pray a lot for them. Please join with me in praying for them.
Welcome Visitors
In these day, I also witness lots of new faces as visitors to our parish. Whenever I see a visitor, it makes me happy. They come to our church looking for Jesus and for His love. Hence, when you see them, please welcome them. Let them know what sort of Christian community we are. I do receive lots of compliments from very many that they feel welcomed. I feel great about that. Let us keep up the good work. When you see a visitor, please welcome them with a smile. Please try to reach out to them. Let them know that we care for them. As you know, everyone wants to feel loved, and everyone wants to feel the warmth of love. Why are you and I not that person to do that?
Confession and Stations of the Cross
I do notice that there are many of you availing yourselves of the sacrament of Confession and attending the Stations of the Cross. Let us keep up the good work. Encourage your friends and family to go to confession, at least in these days of Lent. The sacrament of Confession is reconciliation with God by which the penitent recovers grace, reconciliation with the Church, remission of the eternal punishment incurred by mortal sins, remission, at least in part of temporal punishments resulting from sin, and it brings us peace and serenity of conscience and spiritual consolation. Finally, it’s an increase of spiritual strength for the Christian battle.
With lots of love and blessings.
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan
