A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are all close to my heart
Lots of love, blessings, and prayers to you all.
Thoughts on Priesthood
“There is nothing so great as the Eucharist. If God had something more precious, He would have given it to the priest. Do not try to please everybody. Try to please God, the angels and the saints – they are your public.”
–The wisdom of John Marie Vianny is an inspiration as well a challenge for the priesthood today.
“The priest is no longer suppose to live for himself…He must be aflame with charity toward everyone. Not even his thoughts, his will, his feelings belong to him, for they are rather those of Jesus Christ who is his life,
–Pope Pius Xii.
“The power of the priest is the power of the divine person; for the transubstantiation of the bread requires as much power as the creation of the world.”
–St. Bernardine of Siena.
When he is talking about priests, St. Ambrose would say,
“He made them, the vicars of His love.”
I Celebrate My Ordination Anniversary on May 10th
The reason I am talking about all these quotes of saints on the priesthood is that I am going to celebrate my ordination anniversary on the tenth of this month.
I feel humbled and blessed that the precious and good Lord has also called me to share in the royal priesthood. The call to priesthood is the biggest precious gift in my life. I cherish and relish every second of my life. I was longing to be a priest. Yes, even though the formation was more than sixteen years, the days rolled over extremely fast.
On May 10, 2004, I said Yes to the Lord!
The greatest miracle happened that day. A young guy turned to be a minister of Christ. I became officially the evangelizer of Christ.
What a great gift, what a miracle of all miracles!
Please pray that I may always dedicate my whole life for the good of the Holy Mother Church and the faithful entrusted to my care. Please pray that Mary our Blessed Mother always wraps me under her mantle so that I may always enjoy her warmth of love and dedicate my life to her Son and His Holy Mother Church.
God bless you all.
With lots of love and blessings,
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

What is Holy Mass?
What we do and why do we do this?
Vatican II, bulletin 1324 said the following: – The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” 136 ‘the other sacraments and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented towards it.

What is the Sacrament of Confession? Why do we need confession? What are the benefits of going to confession? The Sacrament of Confession is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God, our neighbors, and the Church.
