A Message from Father Nathan
We are planning many events for our Jubilee Year
I encourage each of you to take part in these activities
We had a Parish and Finance Council meeting this week, and we are excited to begin planning many events throughout our Parish Jubilee Year. Various committees and core groups will be reaching out with different plans and projects in the coming months. I encourage each of you to take part in these activities and help make our 60th Jubilee celebration a meaningful and memorable year for our parish community.
Leaders from the different ministries and groups are already working hard to organize events, all centered around the common theme of our Jubilee Year. I would like to sincerely thank all of our leaders for their commitment, dedication, and generous service to the parish.
I will be in India the 3rd Weekend of this Month.
As I mentioned previously, I will be away during the third weekend of this month. I will be traveling home to India to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of my home parish. I will return the following week. Please continue to keep me in your prayers and pray for safe travels.
Serra Club will host a dinner for the Religious Sisters.
During the last weekend of this month, the Serra Club of our parish and the surrounding area will host a dinner for the Religious Sisters. I would like to take this opportunity to share a little about the mission of Serra International.
Serra International is a global Catholic lay organization dedicated to fostering and promoting vocations to the priesthood, consecrated religious life, and other forms of service in the Church. Membership is open to Catholic lay men, lay women, and permanent deacons, who serve through local Serra Clubs in partnership with diocesan leadership.
The mission of Serra International is to inspire, support, and encourage those who are called to religious or priestly life, while also helping its members grow in personal holiness and friendship. Serrans are often described as “special friends” to priests, religious sisters, and seminarians through their prayers, encouragement, and practical support.
The Religious Sisters will be with us throughout the weekend to participate in and speak at the Masses. Let us warmly welcome and support them. Together with the Serrans, let us continue praying for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
God bless you all.
With prayers and blessings, and ever at your service
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

At the Easter Vigil, the Exsultet is sung as Mass begins in darkness, illumined only by candles throughout the church. The Exsultet is a beautiful hymn of rejoicing in Christ’s triumph of sin and death.

Holy Week is also called “Passion Week” begins on Palm Sunday and continues to Easter Sunday. Holy Week provided an opportunity for all the faithful to reflect on their personal sinfulness and their need for Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf.

What is Holy Mass?
What we do and why do we do this?
Vatican II, bulletin 1324 said the following: – The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” 136 ‘the other sacraments and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented towards it.
