A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are all close to my heart
Lots of love, blessings, and prayers to you all.
Come Back to Mass
welcome back seasonal parishioners
I am extremely gladdened to see lots of winter parishioners coming back to church. So happy to see them. Still more will be coming back. Let us welcome them.
It’s time to return to In Person Mass
I also want to address a few issues. Yes, the world was shaken by the Covid 19. We all confined ourselves within our homes to safeguard our lives. Now we have returned to normalcy but many of our people have not returned to the church. Our Archbishop did inform the clergy that it happens all over the Archdiocese, but still, we need our people back in our church.
Bring a Friend
Hence, may I request you all bring all your friends and family to the church.
Parish Expenses & Collection Deficit
Secondly, every week we get $4,000 as the collection, which makes it approximately $16,000 per month. Our approximate expenses of our parish including the salaries, insurance, utility bills, maintenance everything put together come to around $31,000.
There is a great deficit of $15,000 every month. When the winter parishioners come, no doubt the collection may be a little higher. Thank you for being supportive and generous to the church. You always do that. May God bless you. May I request you all to commit and add $2.00 more to the collection of whatever you now contribute to the church?
Your $2.00 along with your contribution, will help the parish a lot. We have $16,000 every month. $16,000 X2+32,000. We will not have any financial crisis.
We Made the 2023 ABC Goal
Thanks to your generous support, we have reached our ABCD goal for 2023.
We are still paying back our shortfalls for 2021 & 2022
But for the past 2 years, we have been paying the ABCD debt for 2021 and 2022. The debt of ABCD was the huge money that took and huge chunk fo money from the parish. The parish needs your continued support. Hence may I request you all bring your people back to the church and may I request you also add $2.00 to whatever you contribute toward the church.
God bless you all.
With lots of love and blessings,
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan
