A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart.
reverence and respect for the sacred space of our Church
—a sacred stillness
I want to sincerely thank you for the way you have been maintaining silence in our church. Your reverence and respect for the sacred space bring peace not only to you but also to everyone who comes here to pray. Many have expressed appreciation for the way we all help each other pray better.
soul-to-soul dialogue with our Lord Jesus Christ
When you enter the church, let us remember that it’s a soul-to-soul dialogue with the Master, Lord Jesus Christ. Let us also help others to pray better, too. Silence in the church is not an empty quietness—it is a sacred stillness where we allow God to speak to our hearts.
The house of God is a place of prayer,
where we listen to Him, offer our petitions, and find comfort in His presence. By keeping silence, we prepare our hearts to encounter the Lord in the Word and in the Eucharist, and we also help our brothers and sisters to enter into deep prayer without distraction.
preserving this spirit of silence
Let us continue to honor our church as a holy dwelling of God by preserving this spirit of silence. May our quiet reverence always lead us to a stronger communion with Christ and with one another. When the Lord is present right before us, let us deposit our time and later, outside, talk to a neighbor or discuss worldly concerns.
fellowship and joy are also part of our parish life
At the same time, fellowship and joy are also part of our parish life. Right after weekend Mass, I warmly invite you to continue your conversations and sharing in the parish hall. That way, our church remains a place of prayerful silence, and our hall becomes the place for friendship and community.
May our prayer and fellowship always go hand in hand to strengthen us as one family in Christ.
With lots of love and blessings.
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

I will be away for a weekend, as I am traveling to India. My home parish, dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. It is a small community with about 350 families in total. Many have moved outside the village for their livelihood, but the faith of this parish has deeply shaped who I am today.

Many of you have been inquiring about our church tower, when are we starting work and everything involved with it. Some of you are concerned about the financial aspect of it and some of you want to contribute toward it and want to be involved in it. God bless your heart…
