A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are close to my heart!
The month of May always a special month to me. There are two reasons.
Month of Mary
First. As a child and still today, it’s a Marian month. The month of May is Summer back home. All the educational institutions will be out. We will be on our holidays. Every evening our Blessed Mother as a decorated statue will be carried in the streets of our village – carrying her on our shoulders praying the rosary and singing the songs of our Blessed Mother. The whole village will be in two lines walking in the streets praying the rosary. Awesome memories Cherishing them ever fresh in my memories.
My Ordination
The second reason is it’s the month the Lord God Almighty accepted this unworthy servant, me, into His ministry as a priest. May 10, 2004, was my precious and holy day. It was my ordination day. Please pray for me that I will be ever faithful to my calling, to my Lord, and to our Holy Mother Catholic Church.
Request for May
May I request you in this month of May, to spend some time as a family praying the rosary. I thought maybe every day one family could recite the rosary and we will try to “live” stream them. I will talk to our tech person about it if it’s needed I will call the families to collaborate in this mission.
Many Thanks!
I would like to thank the core group of people who will be calling you or called you already to connect with the parish. A big thanks to them for their time and for their effort. God bless them.
Your Checks Are Safe
Some of you were also concerned about the checks that you sent to the parish and which have not cleared. We have them here at the parish safe and sound. The banks are closed hence we were not able to deposit them. Please continue to support the parish and send the envelopes.
May God Bless You All.
Please Stay Safe and healthy!
Ever at your service.
– With lots of love and blessing,
—Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

Celebrating my 21st Ordination
May 10
This week, I will celebrate my 21st Ordination anniversary. I DO NOT like any celebrations for me personally, but when the priesthood is celebrated, I really like it. It’s not the person but the priesthood of Christ…

Easter Sunday. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Fulfilling God’s plan of redemption and the promise of eternal life.

Holy Doors Pilgrimage Trip Report. We are back, healthy and renewed. We had a great pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi. Everyone stayed healthy. The places we visited were more than I expected! I have realized that I have yet to learn an ocean of knowledge about our Catholic faith.

Become a Prayer Warrior. Time is Precious & With Age we Gain Time. There is no doubt that most of our parishioners are age 63 plus. Some may be quick to assume that because of our age, we cannot do a lot to contribute to the community and to society. It’s so unfortunate to think that.

I am in Rome on the Holy Doors Pilgrimage with a Group of Parishioners. Please keep us in your prayers. Preparations have begun for Holy Week and Easter. We have planned the liturgies and all the details they involve. I wish and pray that our people have a meaningful celebration of Holy Week and Easter.
