Solemnity of The Holy Trinity
A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are close to my heart!
Lovable and prayerful greetings to you. I was extremely glad to see some of you in person last weekend. I was extremely delighted. Thank you.
I do follow you on the website and know that some of you do follow the live streaming Masses. Please let me know whatever way I could be useful to you. I come to understand from my brother priests that people are still fearful of coming back to the churches which are quite understandable.
Our esteemed Archdiocese is taking all measures possible to take pastoral care of our people.
Solemnity of the Holy Trinity
This Sunday we are celebrating Trinity Sunday. Trinity means three, so when we discuss the Holy Trinity we mean the Father (God) Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit (sometimes referred to as the Holy Ghost).
The Mystery of the Holy Trinity
The mystery of the Holy Trinity is the most fundamental of our faith. On it, everything else depends, and from it, everything derives. Hence the Church’s constant concern to safeguard the revealed truth that God is One in nature and Three in Persons. The Holy Trinity is part of many sects of Christian doctrine.
Triune God
The belief is that God is one in three persons. God the Father, God the Son as represented by Christ; and God the Holy Spirit. The key element is this belief is that God is at once a single God, but also that each aspect of Him is individual. It’s so most appropriate that we celebrate this feast at this time.
The Power of the Holy Trinity in Times of Distress
We know what was happening in the last two weeks. So saddened to witness all of it. It pained me bitterly. In this scenario, it’s so appropriate to the Feast of the Holy Trinity who even though they are different people but minister together for a cause, even though they are distinct from each other they have only one mission to take care of us.
In the same way, our blessed country we are blessed with different people, coming from very, very different backgrounds. As the Trinitarian mission together and live together, we are all invited to live together in our blessed nation in peace and harmony. The difference we need them. It makes the country beautiful and colorful. I wanted to end my thoughts with the preface and solemn final blessing prayer of last weekend to be true of our nation.
“For, bringing our Paschal Mystery to completion, you bestowed the Holy Spirit today on those you made your adopted children by uniting them to your Only Begotten Son. This same Spirit, as the Church came to birth, opened to all peoples the knowledge of God and brought together the many languages of the earth in profession of the one faith. And may God who has been pleased to unite many tongues in the profession of one faith, give you perseverance in that same faith and by believing, may you journey from hope to clear vision.
Amen
May God Bless You All.
With lots of love and blessing,
Ever at your service.
