A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are close to my heart.
October – the month of the Rosary!
Of all the prayers, the Rosary is the most beautiful and the richest in grace; it is the one most pleasing to Mary, the Virgin Most Holy
“The Rosary is the glory of the Roman Church. As an exercise of Christian piety, it takes its place among the faithful after the Mass and Sacraments”
— Pope John XXII
“The Rosary is the most excellent form of prayer and the most efficacious means of attaining eternal life. It is the remedy for all our evils, the root of all our blessings. There is no more excellent way of praying”.
— Pope Leo XIII
“The Rosary elevated minds to the truths revealed by God and shows us Heaven opened. The Virgin Mary Herself has insistently recommended this manner of praying. All Graces are conceded to us by God through the hands of Mary”.
— Pope Pius XI
“Would you like me to tell you a secret? It is simple and after all, is not secret; Pray, pray much. Say the Rosary every day”.
— Pope John Paul II
“How beautiful is the family that recites the Rosary in the evening”.
— Pope John Paul II
We have a wonderful tradition at our parish that is right after the 8:00 a.m. Mass, we do pray the rosary. You are all invited to join us in praying the rosary
Let us pray the rosary as a St. Gabriel community
With lots of love and ever at your service,
Fr. Sahayanthan Nathan

Understand The Lent discipline of Fasting… All Catholics are called to fast for at least two important dates. One is Ash Wednesday and the other is Good Friday. Fasting, prayer, and helping the poor are the three spiritual disciplines of Lent.

When we think of Lent, for any Catholic, there are three things that should come to our mind. These three main things are prayer, fasting, and giving.
