A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are all close to my heart!
Prayerful Greetings!
I hope you guys are safe and healthy…
I am receiving these days tones of positive comments about all that’s happening in the church and in keeping the church moving forward. Thank you. As I always repeat them to you, it’s our family and my family. I feel that I have to do it for my family. Thank you though. Please do remember to pray for me. I can take any amount of prayers. Thank you.
Parking Lot mass continues
I am impressed through the deacon and a few of the people of our parish that many people are making good use of the park lot facility to attend Mass. God bless you. I am extremely happy about it.
I believe these days the death rates have gone down which makes me happy, but at the same time, the people who are affected by it are on an increase…I am not sure what the reason is but still let us be a little more responsible.
Communion
Again I am requesting you in case if there is someone who wants Communion, please let me know, we can take care of them. We have the obligation to take good care of them hence please let me know. Please be safe.
Words From Mother Theresa
I wanted to quote a few of the beautiful words of wisdom of Mother Theresa.
“Loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted is the most terrible poverty”.
We all can experience that in our lives – the pain, the loneliness. We must have the courage to recognize it.
“It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start.”
One of the negative effects of this pandemic situation is that it made us think we are lonely and sick, it’s so true if you are homebound and all by yourself.
I do understand but remember, our God is there to love you and to be on your side.
We are called to cling to Him..even if you are living with your family, it’s a little tougher to be lovable and kind to your family 24/7…it’s tough but it’s the cross we are called to carry. May the Lord bestow the strength to handle the situation.
God bless you all.
– With lots of love and blessing,
Ever at your service.

Celebrating my 21st Ordination
May 10
This week, I will celebrate my 21st Ordination anniversary. I DO NOT like any celebrations for me personally, but when the priesthood is celebrated, I really like it. It’s not the person but the priesthood of Christ…

Easter Sunday. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Fulfilling God’s plan of redemption and the promise of eternal life.

Holy Doors Pilgrimage Trip Report. We are back, healthy and renewed. We had a great pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi. Everyone stayed healthy. The places we visited were more than I expected! I have realized that I have yet to learn an ocean of knowledge about our Catholic faith.

Become a Prayer Warrior. Time is Precious & With Age we Gain Time. There is no doubt that most of our parishioners are age 63 plus. Some may be quick to assume that because of our age, we cannot do a lot to contribute to the community and to society. It’s so unfortunate to think that.

I am in Rome on the Holy Doors Pilgrimage with a Group of Parishioners. Please keep us in your prayers. Preparations have begun for Holy Week and Easter. We have planned the liturgies and all the details they involve. I wish and pray that our people have a meaningful celebration of Holy Week and Easter.
