A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart
Pray for Our Parish and our Parish Family
Annual Planning for our ministries
This week, all the heads of the various parish groups will meet to plan for the upcoming year. Last year we had a few hiccups due to some miscommunications. Hence, I am planning to have all the groups meet together so that we may all be on the same page and work for the good and smooth running of the parish.
Please pray for me and for our people.
For the past two weeks, I have come to know that very many of our parishioners are suffering from cancers of different kinds. As the shepherd of the parish, it pains me that my people have to undergo this.
Please pray for everyone that the healing touch of the Lord may be upon them and that they may all be healed.
Prayer can do wonders.
Prayers can heal them or help them bear the pain in the worst scenario.
Feedback on our Parish Mission
Thank you all for your positive compliments on the parish mission. I am glad that you made good use of it. It’s God’s mission and for the good of the church. Praise be God.
We will have another mission, maybe in December in preparation for Christmas. Please keep that intention also in your prayers.
Rosary is Quiet time
It has been brought to my attention that some of you are talking during rosary time and sometimes even during Mass time.
Can you please avoid that? Let us help each other so that we all converse with God. We have ample time and chances to talk to others outside of the church. Let the church be the time and place to talk to God alone in silence.
New and Visiting Guests
These days I do witness there are lots of new people visiting our parish. Please, when you notice guests or new parishioners please offer assistance and be kind to them. Please reach out to them. Sometimes, a smile and a word of warm welcome will have a great impact on their life, and they also feel that they are welcomed.
The church needs to bestow that warmth to everyone to enters inside the church.
Welcome right after the Mass for the social in the parish hall. I do witness that now some of them just started to create a social group after the Mass, which is something great. I love to see you spend some time socializing with one another. May God bless you.
May God bless you all. Please keep up the good work. God Bless America!
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan
