A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart.
Pray for the Pope + Lent Begins
Prayers can do wonders
As we know, our Pope is not doing so well with his health. May I request all of you to pray for his speedy recovery. I am of the belief that prayers are the most powerful weapons in the world. Prayers can do wonders; hence, let our prayer storm the doors of heaven that may God heal our Pope, that he may be able to return to normalcy.
Lent Begins This Week with Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday is coming up. Let us start seeking the grace of God.
There are trifold means of getting closer to God.
Prayer: Christians are encouraged to participate in prayer to increase their awareness of, dependence upon and relationship with God.
Fasting: Some Christians give up certain food or “fast” during Lent to connect deeper with God.
Almsgiving: This involves giving to others as a form of justice toward neighbors.
Every Friday stations of the cross
We will have Stations of the cross every Friday at 4:00 p.m. in the church. May I request all to join in praying the stations which are another best form of prayer and where we can understand the plan, and pain of God for our salvation.
Every week, Fasting & Doing Good
it’s good that keep fasting and abstinence during the Lenten season. These are ways and means to become closer to Christ and to taste His love for our salvation. Ever wanting to be faithful to your service.
With lots of love and blessings.
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan
