A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are all close to my heart!
Lots of love, blessings, and prayers to you all.
Mass | the summit of prayer
Mass is the source and the Summit of all our prayers. Mass should be an extension of our life. Life should be an extension of our Mass. Mass is our source of strength for our life. Mass is what keeps the Church moving and holy.
Without Mass, the church will wither away. As I am your minister of the church, I am called to be the mouthpiece of the church and everything I share is crystal clear as told to me to follow.
Mass is for Jesus
There is nothing that I bring that is new to the liturgy. The Church has such long traditions and it retains its uniqueness and holiness. All I do as your leader is to be reacting to the holy Mass done by our master, Jesus Christ himself.
My role as priest is to spread the word of God
The creativity that I can add would be my homily. I can use all my human creativity to spread and preach the Word of God. All the rest of things were given to me. I can say that I am not that smart to think beyond the Church to understand the mind of Christ.
Changes During our Mass
Hence, you can witness there are a few changes during Mass. I HAVE NOT CHANGED ANYTHING ABOUT THE LITURGY. All I am doing is to have uniformity and to make the liturgy celebration a little more solemn. Of course, I have the safety of our people in my mind. Most of our people have their own health issues, hence I am trying my best to make good use of their talents and interest for this Solemn celebration.
Change….no one likes it especially when we mature in age. Our people were trained from a very early age and in many parishes before this one. Everyone knows what they do. Please appreciate their interest and pray for them as those that serve you change upon my request. We have a good amount of people who are sharing their time and talents for the good of the Church and the greater glory of God.
God bless you all.
With lots of love and blessing.
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service.

Holy Week is also called “Passion Week” begins on Palm Sunday and continues to Easter Sunday. Holy Week provided an opportunity for all the faithful to reflect on their personal sinfulness and their need for Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf.

What is Holy Mass?
What we do and why do we do this?
Vatican II, bulletin 1324 said the following: – The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” 136 ‘the other sacraments and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented towards it.

What is the Sacrament of Confession? Why do we need confession? What are the benefits of going to confession? The Sacrament of Confession is one of the most unique and beautiful aspects of Catholicism. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Confession so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God, our neighbors, and the Church.
