A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart.
Feast of Our Lady of Fatima | Monday, October 13
—join us for Mass & after we will gather together to pray a special Rosary, which will be offered for the intentions and well-being of our country
As we approach the 13 th of October, we are reminded of the beautiful and powerful message of Our Lady of Fatima, whose final apparition to the three shepherd children in Fatima took place on this date in 1917. Between May 13 and October 13, 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared six times to three young shepherd children—Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco—in the small village of Fatima.
A simple yet profound message
She came as a mother full of compassion, calling to the world to conversion, prayer, penance, and peace. Her messages were simple yet profound: pray the Rosary daily, make sacrifices for the conversion of sinners, and consecrate our hearts to her Immaculate Heart.
The Miracle of the Sun
On October 13, 1917, in what is now famously known as the Miracle of the Sun, tens of thousands of people witnessed a miraculous phenomenon confirming the authenticity of the apparitions. This event deeply moved the faithful and led to a worldwide devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, who remains a beacon of hope and maternal intercession for all nations.
A Special Rosary for Our Nation
To honor Our Lady and seek her powerful intercession, we invite all parishioners to join us for Mass on Monday, October 13th, in celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. Immediately following the Mass, we will gather together to pray a special Rosary, which will be offered for the intentions and well-being of our country. In these times when our nation faces both spiritual and societal challenges, we turn to our Blessed Mother, the Queen of Peace, and ask for her maternal guidance and protection.
Let Us Unite in Prayer.
Let this day be an opportunity for our parish community to come together in faith and unity, responding to Our Lady’s call to prayer and penance. Bring your families, invite your friends, and let us fill our church with devotion and hope.
“In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”
– Our Lady of Fatima.
We look forward to praying with you all on this special day.
In the hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,
— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan
