A Message from Father Nathan
Lent has begun – An invitation to dive deeper into our spiritual life
Let us make use of this season for the purification of our relationship with Jesus
As we have started the holy Lenten season, let us make use of this season for purification of our relationship with Jesus, to go into a deeper understanding of His love, to make reparations for our sins, and above all, to relish His love.
Stations of the Cross are prayed every Friday at 4:00 p.m.
And, as usual, we will have Stations of the Cross prayed every Friday at 4:00 p.m. I would encourage all of us to participate in this liturgy and walk along with Him.
This is one of the beautiful ways to walk along with Jesus to Calvary, to understand and appreciate His sacrifice on the cross for our salvation, and above all to spend some time with Him; hence, I would encourage all to participate in the Stations of the Cross.
ABCD – We are still behind our goal. Prayerfully consider your pledge.
I am reminding you of ABCD. Still have yet to reach our target. We can easily reach this goal only by the generous involvement of the numerous families or all of your involvement; hence, please pledge to the ABCD.
St. Gabriel celebrates its Golden Jubilee—60th anniversary of the establishment of our parish.
Save the Date for a Special Mass Tuesday, March 224th (2026) kickstarts the Jubilee with the solemn Mass of the bishop
I am also extremely excited to inform you that in 2027, St. Gabriel celebrates its Golden Jubilee, which is the 60th anniversary of the establishment of our parish. Hence, Tuesday, March 224th (2026) kiskstarts the Jubilee with the solemn Mass of the bishop. We have already discussed it with the parish council; details will follow soon.
With prayers and blessings, and ever at your service

Archbishop’s Letter
My dear Brothers and Sisters,
Life can be noisy and, at times, overwhelming. Yet in the quiet moments of prayer, a still, gentle voice speaks to us—a deep conviction that stirs within and calls us to look beyond ourselves. Each day, we’re surrounded by the clamor of the world—its demands, its distractions, its pressures—but even in the midst of it all, God calls us to pause, to listen, and to respond to the quiet prompting within us: to see and serve the needs of others.
Let us come together to bring light where there is darkness, peace where there is conflict, and love where there is need. There is great strength in unity—and when we are united in Christ, we become a powerful force for good in a world longing for hope and healing.
Together, we must do good and seek peace. Together starts with you.
By giving to the Archbishop’s Charities and Development Drive, the ABCD, you bring hope to those in greatest need. This is our Church, our mission—to serve with heart and compassion.
The ABCD lives out this mission every day: feeding the hungry, consoling the suffering, embracing the stranger, advocating for justice, and upholding the dignity of the poor with love. The work of our Church in South Florida, through the ABCD, is not merely charitable—it is profoundly sacramental, a visible expression of Christ’s love in the world.
As Pope Leo XIV said, “United hand in hand with God… let us go forward. The world needs His light.” Let us seek peace, do good,
and stand in the light of Christ.
Now is the time to come together. Your gift to the ABCD supports a mission that reflects the very heart of the Gospel.
Thank you for uniting with me to be One in Faith, One in Hope, and One in Charity. Your faith and generosity bring the Gospel to life. May God bless you and keep you in His peace.
With hope and gratitude,
Most Rev. Thomas G. Wenski

I want to inform you that I will be going on my annual priestly retreat this week. This is a time for me to step back from the busyness of daily ministry, to rest in the Lord, and to listen more deeply to His voice in prayer and silence.

A sacred space for soul-to-soul dialogue with our Lord Jesus Christ. Silence in the church is not an empty quietness—it is a sacred stillness where we allow God to speak to our hearts.

Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross – September 14th. This feast is celebrated every year on September 14th and recalls three historical events: The finding of the True Cross by Saint Helena, the mother of the emperor Constantine, The dedication of churches built by Constantine on the site of the Holy Sepulcher and Mount Calvary, The restoration of the True Cross to Jerusalem by the emperor Heraclius II.
