A Message from Father Nathan

My dearest people closest to my heart!
God bless you and your generous heart

June 1 – Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Next month the first weekend in June we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, popularly known as the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. This is an important feast to celebrate. The Church is called altar people or Eucharistic people.

In its people, the Church lives, moves, and has its being just because of the Eucharist. Presently all over the world, the love of the Eucharist is diminishing. I want to counter that. We need to attend to this. We need to increase the love of the Eucharist. We need theological inputs, personal relationships, and worship needs to be encouraged.

Procession of the Eucharist – following the 4 PM mass

Hence, on Saturday, June 1, right after the vigil Mass, we will have a procession around the church. I would encourage all of you to be present for the procession. Even if you are not a 4:00 p.m. Mass attendee, please do join the procession. The procession will start in the church. Then we will exit through the main door to the northeast corner of the church property, where we will have a blessing, and proceed northwest to the parking lot where we will have the second blessing. The third blessing will be at the entrance of the hall and through 7th street, we will go to the southern side of the church, where we will have the fourth blessing and then we proceed to the church where we will have moments to praise and worship and we will conclude with Benediction.

I have also talked with Father Greer, the pastor of Assumption; he said his people will also join for the Mass and the procession too.

Assumptions Procession & Blessing Sunday June 2 @ 2PM

The next day, he has the Mass and the procession from 2:00 p.m. onwards. I would encourage all whoever can join for the Mass and the procession. He will have a social, right after the procession. Please do join our neighbors at Assumption on Sunday.

Let us all do it together. If you cannot participate in the procession, please stay inside the church and pray. Let us spend some time on that before the Eucharistic Lord.

Movie to See This Summer – “JESUS THIRSTS”

Cinemark movie theater in Pompano Beach on June 4,5, & 6

It’s so fitting that there is a movie coming up next month called “JESUS THIRSTS” at the Cinemark movie theater in Pompano Beach on June 4,5, & 6. The movie is on the Eucharist. I would encourage you all to go and watch it.

Eucharist is God’s love for the world

The Eucharist is nothing but God’s love for the world. Jesus’ love is made present to the world through that little Eucharistic wafer.

It’s all about love. He loves us so much that he lives here in the Eucharist. The Eucharist gives us hope and assures us eternal life. At the Mass heaven and earth come together. The Eucharist makes it a reality. Hence, there is someone bringing something to us to share about the Eucharist, let us go and learn and internalize it.

With lots of love and blessings,

Ever wanting to be faithful to your service,

— Fr. Sahayanathan Nathan

Every week as we profess our faith, we express… “I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic
Church and THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS.” The author of this letter to the Hebrews wrote. “Therefore since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and the perfecter of faith.” (12.1-2)
