A Message from Father Nathan
My dearest people who are all close to my heart!
Lots of love, blessings, and prayers to you all.
Being Good Stewards of Our church Home
You might have witnessed that there has been some renovation work done here at the church. There is one of our members of the church, Mr. Guy DeJohn, a retired engineer and committed Catholic, came and talked to me and shared that we need to take care of the building.
Maintaining the Integrity of Our Church Building
I was extremely happy he approached me just because I was looking for an engineer. We went through the buildings and found some of the maintenance and renovations that have to be done as soon as possible. We have come to learn that the maintenance and renovations were not done as many years as they needed to be.
We went through all the corners of the buildings, and we called the Diocese to get their opinion as I needed to get approval and permission from the Archbishop. Understanding the seriousness and emergency of the situation, we did the renovations. We spent close to $40,000.
Now we need to do the painting of the outside of our buildings. We will start doing this painting as soon as possible. We know that it’s going to cost about another $55,000.
Security Cameras
Additionally, I also feel that we need to install surveillance cameras all around the buildings. I think it’s highly needed. I am wanting to be prudent in taking care of things now rather than later. We are on A1A. There are a few things of concern reported to me and I am witnessing them as well. It’s better to be prudent.
Hence, I believe, it’s time to do it. I had plans to install surveillance cameras two years ago, but with the advent of the COVID, everything was put on hold. Now, I believe is the time to do it. It will cost a bit.
Help Raise Funds
I am looking for someone, or a few others, who want to take care of raising the funds in some fashion or another….it would be great.
It’s our church. It’s our home.
We need to do it, and you cannot ignore it because it will only get worse and cost so much more.
Please help me with some financial ideas. I am not good at asking, I am really not. But I am now pushed to put these things before you. Please come forward to support the church and for the maintenance of the church.
More than Just a Building
I have plans for the betterment and spiritual growth of our church that I am already working on.
Please pray for me that, I may do everything for the greater glory of God and for the betterment of our parish.
Waiting for your support and prayers.
God bless you all.
With lots of love and blessing.
Ever at your service.

Praying a rosary has been a tradition in the Church for a long time. Praying the rosary is such a powerful means to reach Jesus. The rosary is the vehicle for Mary to intercede to her Son Jesus. It’s an extremely powerful weapon and Catholics need to hold it in their pocket at times.

At the Easter Vigil, the Exsultet is sung as Mass begins in darkness, illumined only by candles throughout the church. The Exsultet is a beautiful hymn of rejoicing in Christ’s triumph of sin and death.
